West Indian Carnival Night at the Nets Game: A Celebration of Culture, Community & Basketball
West Indian Carnival Night at the Nets Game is a vibrant cultural experience that brings the energy and pride of Caribbean heritage to the NBA stage.
Hosted in partnership with the Terance Mann Complete Player Foundation, this special evening honors Saint Lucian culture, traditions, and community leaders while creating an unforgettable game-day atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Carnival—wear bold colors, wave their flags, and celebrate the richness of the West Indies.
More than just a basketball game, the night serves as a powerful cultural showcase and community gathering, uniting fans, dignitaries, and supporters through music, culture, and shared pride. The experience often includes exclusive moments such as post-game meet-and-greets, while also highlighting the foundation’s mission to give back—supporting youth development and basketball infrastructure in Saint Lucia.
West Indian Carnival Night is where culture meets community—turning a night at the game into a meaningful celebration of heritage, unity, and impact.
The Terance Mann Complete Player Foundation hosted a basketball clinic in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday, February 17th, in partnership with the FIAO Center. The clinic brought together young athletes from the local community for a day focused on skill development, mentorship, and personal growth in a positive and encouraging environment.
Participants engaged in basketball drills, training sessions, and character-building conversations designed to develop confidence both on and off the court. Coaches and volunteers worked closely with the athletes, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and the importance of believing in their potential.
This clinic held special meaning for the Foundation as it marked the organization’s first clinic in the borough of Brooklyn — where Terance Mann’s journey began. Being able to return to the community that helped shape his path made the experience a full-circle moment and reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to giving back to youth through access, opportunity, and mentorship.
Through initiatives like the Brooklyn Clinic, the Terance Mann Complete Player Foundation continues its mission to empower the next generation by creating spaces where young people feel supported, motivated, and inspired to succeed.
