I am deeply proud of my role as a dedicated mother to my two remarkable young adults, DJ and Michaela. DJ, an alumnus of St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York and a former professional basketball player who competed overseas, and Michaela, a graduate of Appalachian State University, embarked on her own professional basketball journey, spending her inaugural year as a professional basketball player in Portugal. The role of being a “basketball mom” holds a special place in my heart and fuels my unwavering passion.

Professionally, I serve as the Director of Parking & Transportation Services at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to my university responsibilities, I also proudly own and operate Saavy Signing Services, a mobile notary business. Balancing these diverse roles keeps me engaged and fulfilled on a daily basis.

In my leisure time, I indulge in my love for travel, actively follow and attend sporting events. My commitment to professional growth and involvement is reflected in my current position as an executive board member of the Pennsylvania Parking Association and membership in the Mothers of Professional Basketball Players organization, where I contribute to the support and camaraderie of fellow basketball moms.
